Séfr started its business as an used apparel store in Malmö, Sweden, co-found by Sinan Abi Morshed and Per Fredrikson who have known each other since childhood.
The Séfr brand is found in 2016 with the concept of modern daily wear. The label name is derived from a Lebanese word with the meaning of 0 (zero).
