25th Thai Festival is announced officially at the press conference in Royal Thai embassy in Tokyo on 22 April 2025.
Wichu Vechajiva, ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand and Yoshinori Ikezawa from TSP Taiyō, a Japanese company and festival partner presented the Thai Festival 2025 which is held under the theme of “Creative Thailand” at Yoyogi park Tokyo during 10-11 May 2025.
To promote Thailand’s soft power and showcasing Thai products, tourism, culture, food, films and music by supporting from Thailand and Japan business sector.
The first artist lineup is revealed and many Thai artists fan meetings in Tokyo this year. From MILLi, The first solo Thai artist to appear at Coachella, Thai BL drama actors from 4MINUTES and GMMTV's hit BL series actors, Scrubb and Thai traditional performance of Mo-Lam at several venue in Tokyo on 8-12 May 2025.
NIPPON BOYZ is a popular Japanese team with 3 members on social media, composed of a former comedian Ryota, GMMTV actor Luke Ishikawa, and Hideki who was a member of the Thai national ice hockey team. The MC is PERTH Nakun and CHISA who has recently been in charge of interpreting at events in Japan. The timetable will be announced later.
Similar to previous year, there is a fashion show by Thai designer in runway format, the actors and models wearing the ablankpage label clothes by Thai designer Phuvadej Larojpaiboon.
After the announcement, the reception party is held with the promotion of Thai traditional desserts such as Kao niew Ma-muang, Kao niew Mul, Kanom Tokyo and Thai tea to media representatives and invitation guests at the venue.

เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ Soft Power ของไทย นำเสนอสินค้าไทย การท่องเที่ยว วัฒนธรรม อาหารไทย แฟชั่น มวยไทย ภาพยนตร์ และดนตรี ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากภาคธุรกิจทั้งประเทศไทยและญี่ปุ่น
นอกจากประกาศรายชื่อศิลปินไทยดร็อปแรกแล้ว ปีนี้ยังจัดงานแฟนมีตติ้งศิลปินไทยถึง 3 วันที่โตเกียว อาทิ MILLI ศิลปินเดี่ยวชาวไทยคนแรกที่ขึ้นแสดงในงาน Coachella, ไบเบิ้ล-เจษ-บาส-ฟูไอซ์ จากซีรีย์วายเรื่อง 4MINUTES, คริส-สิงโต, เต-นิว, วง Scrubb รวมทั้งการแสดงหมอลำครั้งแรกที่ญี่ปุ่น ระหว่างวันที่ 8-12 พฤษภาคมนี้
หลังจากนั้น ทางสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทยกรุงโตเกียวได้จัดชุดขนมไทยพร้อมชมการทำ อาทิ ข้าวเหนียวมูลหน้าต่างๆ ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง ขนมโตเกียว และชาไทยให้สื่อมวลชน และแขกผู้ร่วมงานได้สัมผัส สร้างความประทับใจก่อนงานเริ่มช่วงต้นเดือนพฤษภาคมนี้
