𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 (𝐁𝐈𝐅𝐅) is widely considered one of Asia's most significant and prestigious film festivals, often recognized alongside other major global events like Cannes.
Renowned Korean actor Lee Byung-hun attended the 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 (#𝗕𝗜𝗙𝗙𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱) Red Carpet on September 17th, 2025, as the host of the Opening Ceremony for the festival, which featured the premiere of the film NO OTHER CHOICE, directed by Park Chan-wook. Lee looks elegant by wearing a white blazer jacket and wrist malas on the red carpet.
The film is an adaptation of the 1997 American novel "The Ax" by Donald Westlake. It stars Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin, among others. The film premiered at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival in August 2025 to critical acclaim and was selected as the South Korean entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards. It was released in South Korea in September 2025 and is scheduled for a U.S. release in select theaters around Christmas 2025.
