Tokyo Comic Con 2025 announced that the Japan visit of Louis Koo, Tony Wu, and German Cheung has been canceled.
Louis Koo, Tony Wu and German Cheung, who had been scheduled to attend Tokyo Comic Con 2025, cancelled their visit to Japan due to their supporting efforts after the Hong Kong fire in Taipo district on November 26, 2025.
They decided to withdraw from the event and considered that the local situation is their high priority, although the event starting very soon and many Japanese fans are looking forward to see them in Japan. Tokyo Comic Con respected their decision and understand the feelings.
They also canceled all events in Hong Kong and plan to focus on the supporting efforts through charity activities.
Louis Koo Tony Wu and German Cheung also sent a message to Japanese fans who are looking forward to see them, as well as to all those who involved the event, expressing their deep regret and asking for understanding the current situation in Hong Kong.

鑒於香港昨日發生的重大火災事故並導致嚴重傷亡，我們深感悲痛，並與全港市民同心哀悼。 基於上述不可抗力事件的影響，我方需取消「2025東京動漫展」之相關合約安排。原定於2025年12月5日及12月6日「2025東京動漫展」的所有活動，我方藝人均無法出席。對因此給主辦單位及相關單位造成的不便，我們致以誠摯歉意，並盼各方予以理解及體諒。
"We are deeply saddened by the serious accident caused by the massive fire in Hong Kong yesterday, we join with Hong Kong people in offering our condolences. In this situation, we have no choice but to withdraw from the Tokyo Comic Con 2025. Our team will not be able to attend the Tokyo Comic Con 2025 during December 5 - 6, 2025. We sincerely apologize to the organizers and all those who involved for any inconvenience it occured. We appreciate your understanding"
