The amazing energy of "Thailand Night" hosted by Thailand government Ministry of Culture and Thailand Film Motion Association (TLFA) completely took over the InterContinental Tokyo Bay during the 39th Tokyo International Film Festival ( #TIFFJP )!
Gracing the event was the charismatic Japanese actor Shun Shioya, who recently turned heads on the Red Carpet at the Bangkok International Film Festival ( #BKKIFF2026 ), the biggest international film festival in Southeast Asia.
We all know the world already shares a big love for BlackPink’s Lisa, delicious Thai food, Phuket beach and those heart-fluttering Thai BL dramas... and it is so heartwarming to see Thai culture bringing people together everywhere!
Adding to that beautiful cultural exchange, the exclusive party serves as a wonderful celebration ahead of the monumental 140 Years of Japan-Thailand Diplomatic Relationship in 2027.
Best known for his award-winning lead role in "Break Through!" (Pacchigi!) and his legendary tokusatsu icon, Shun Shioya continues to captivate audiences not just as a brilliant actor, but as a global film producer bridging cultures through cinema.
