Nicky Jakobsen, a half Thai and Danish actor who are known from a reality show "Thailand's Got Talent Season 5" at SPLASH Thailand's soft power exhibition by THACCA (Thailand Creative Culture Agency), Ministry of Commerce and Thailand government in Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.
After the Korean wave has expanded worldwide to become a global phenomenon, fuelled by social media and online communities, Thailand government set up a Soft Power Committee featuring experts from 11 industries: Tourism, Festivals, Sports, Cuisine, Films (Thai films, BL drama), Musics, Arts, Books, Gaming, Design and Fashion, to promote Thai POP as part of Thai cultural export for soft power.
