Osaka-born Kabuki actor Kataoka Ainosuke VI attends the "Hoekago" Parade in Expo 2025 Osaka on 9th April 2025.
The Hoekago parade is a traditional event that heralds the New Year in Osaka's Minami district, held in conjunction with the "Tokaebisu Festival" at Imamiya Ebisu Shrine to wish for prosperous business as one of the Osaka Intangible Folk Cultural Assets. Not only traditional performance Kabuki, Kataoka Ainosuke VI is also known from many films including "Kingdom 3" and NHK's Taiga drama "Unbound".
Expo 2025 will be held for 6 months during 13 April - 13 October 2025 at Yumeshima Island in Osaka Bay.
