BLACKMEANS Spring Summer 2026 fusing avant-garde design with its Japanese style simplicity and hardcore Punk culture.
In 2005, Yujiro Komatsu, Masatomo Ariga and Takatomo Ariga formed a production team to launch the Tokyo branch of a Gifu Prefecture leather clothing sewing factory including OEM orders. In 2008, the label BLACKMEANS was found and later separated from the factory. Now the brand is handled by Yujiro Komatsu and Akitomo Ariga.
“blackmeans” was launched in the season of 2008 A/W as leather brand. blackmeans establishes the concept of values latitude and creating new form of perception within the frame work of Japanese hardcore Punk/post-anarchism. It's about an aesthetic tinged with a bit of the barbaric and avant-gardism.
The conjunction of various inspirations is an integral element of their design. Along with being among the members to incorporate elements and the other influences of hard-core punk, tribal, motorcycles and high fashion, there were often overt freestyle elements in their collection.

ในปี 2005 ยูจิโร โคมัตสึ, มาซาโตโมะ อาริกะ และทาคาโตโม อาริกะ รวมตัวกันเปิดตัวโรงงานตัดเย็บเครื่องหนังของจังหวัดกิฟุ สาขาโตเกียว พร้อมรับออเดอร์สั่งตัดแบบ OEM ต่อมาในปี 2008 แบรนด์ BLACKMEANS ได้ถือกำเนิดขึ้น แยกออกจากโรงงาน ปัจจุบันแบรนด์อยู่ภายใต้การการดำเนินงานของยูจิโร โคมัตสึ และอากิโตโมะ อาริกะ
BLACKMEANS เปิดตัวครั้งแรกด้วยคอลเลคชั่นฤดูใบไม้ร่วง/ฤดูหนาว 2008 กลุ่มแบรนด์เครื่องหนัง สร้างคอนเซปต์มุมมองใหม่ๆ ภายใต้ธีมฮาร์ดคอร์พังก์แยยญี่ปุ่น นำเสนอสุนทรียศาสตร์ที่แฝงกลิ่นอายความดิบ ความป่าเถื่อน และความล้ำสมัยในเวลาเดียวกัน
การผสมผสานแรงบันดาลใจที่หลากหลายก็เป็นจุดเด่นของแบรนด์ นอกจากการรวมเอาองค์ประกอบและอิทธิพลแฟชัานแนวฮาร์ดคอร์พังก์ วัฒนธรรมชนเผ่า แก็งค์มอเตอร์ไซค์ และโอต์กูตูร์เข้าด้วยกันแล้ว ยังเติมดีเทลและกลิ่นอายความรู้สึกอิสระ ฟรีสไตล์ในแต่ละคอลเลกชันอีกด้วย
