MUSIC JAPAN AWARDS 2026

The Press Conference for MUSIC JAPAN AWARDS 2026 was held on 5 November 2025 at Google Japan in Shibuya district, emceed by Chris Peppler and Rina Yamamoto. Actor Kaito Sakurai, Comedian star Hikorohee, music writer Tomonori Shiba and Isao Matsushima attended as guests.

Kaito (Netflix's "From Me To You" - 君に届け , Karada Sagashi: The Last Night - カラダ探し ) is known as the son of Kazutoshi Sakurai, the lead vocalist and frontman of the legendary Japanese rock band "Mr. Children". 

He mentioned his interest in ONE OK ROCK for the "Best Album Award" category, noting that they were the catalyst for him starting his music career. Hikorohee expressed her high expectations for the newly established "Best MV Director Award," emphasizing the importance of MV directors' work in the streaming era.

MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026 is scheduled to take place on June 13, 2026, at the new opened TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO.

งานแถลงข่าว MUSIC JAPAN AWARDS 2026 จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน 2568 ที่ Google Japan ย่านชิบูย่า โดยมีคริส เป็ปเลอร์ และรินะ ยามาโมโตะเป็นพิธีกร มีนักแสดง "ไคโตะ ซากุไร", นักแสดงตลก "ฮิโกะโรฮี", นักแต่งเพลง "โทโมโนริ ชิบะ" และ "อิซาโอะ มัทสึชิมะ" เป็นแขกรับเชิญในงาน
