Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival 2026 is the 11th edition of South Korea's premier event celebrating Thai culture, soft power, and innovation.
Organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, the two-day festival runs from June 20 to June 21, 2026, and took place at Cheonggye Plaza in central Seoul. Staged under the slogan "Creative Life, Creative Heartbeat," this year's installment has doubled its venue size to accommodate more than 100,000 visitors.
Highlights of the Festival
Thai Cuisine: Dozens of food booths serve authentic street food, traditional Thai dishes like Pad Thai and Som Tum, and modern favorites.
Live Entertainment: The main stage hosts the music shows, Thai pop (T-Pop) artist performances, Muay Thai demonstrations, and cultural shows.
Cultural Parade: Organized in collaboration with local Thai community associations, a vibrant parade showcases traditional Thai attire, arts, and identity.
Soft Power & Innovation: Beyond food and crafts, the 2026 edition highlights Thai creative industries, economic diplomacy, tech startups, and wellness innovations.
