MCM CELEBRATES “80 YEARS OF TWEETY” WITH RELEASE OF ALL NEW COLLECTION

“I tawt I taw a puddy tat!” The world’s most famous beloved canary, Tweety, is celebrating his 80th anniversary and MCM is celebrating eight decades of animated hijinks with a playful collaboration. This new collection, an official collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, continues the luxury fashion brand’s long-running heritage in the entertainment sector with 30 original pieces, from Tweety bags to ready-to-wear and colorful accessories. The Looney Tunes X MCM collaboration is available now at MCM stores and mcmworldwide.com.

Launching with a global rollout, the Looney Tunes X MCM collection will be accompanied by special pop-up and pop-in stores, bedecked with vibrant images of Tweety himself and, of course, his iconic bird cage. Customers will be free to browse MCM’s Looney Tunes range, featuring the character’s playful visage on a wide variety of Visetos monogram products, combining classic MCM iconography with the long-running animated classic. To add to the fun, customers can engage with augmented reality effects, adding to the immersive experience with sharable social moments.

Fans can take their pick from totes, shoppers, and backpacks, available in black, white, and cognac editions of the iconic Visetos Monogram. A range of hoodies and sweaters, emblazoned with the renowned letters of the Haus and a bold assortment of leather goods captures the cartoon spirit with MCM’s signature craftsmanship. Topping it off are animated ball caps and bucket hats.

To celebrate the most adorable collection at the end of the year, MCM Thailand opened a new pop-up store at Siam Paragon, Bangkok from now until 4th January 2023.

At the opening party, many renowned stars attended include Sky-Wongrawee Nateethorn, MCM's muse Taew - Nattaporn Temeeruk, Min - Peechaya Wattanamontree, Sukhwan Bulakul, Prim - Chanikan Tangkabodee, Jeff Satur and Bright - Norraphat Vilaiphan.
