What's inside KCON 2023 in Japan!

Have you ever heard about KCON in Japan? Come with us to know and see all about KCON 2023 in JAPAN, one of the biggest music festivals from South Korea with more hundreds artists!

KCON MUSIC FESTIVAL is an annual convention held in many locations around the world, started from Southern California before expanded to 10 countries worldwide.

KCON 2023 JAPAN was held from 12-14 May 2023 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba prefecture and it's one of the biggest K-POP concerts in Japan. This year, KCON has brought more 15 groups with hundred artists. The highlights of KCON this year is not only Korean artists, but there are also many renowned Japanese boy bands such as JO1, NiziU and INI. Both JO1 and INI were voted by audience and won as the finalists from PRODUCE 101 JAPAN season 1 and 2, which is co-produced by CJ ENM and Yoshimoto Kogyo, two gigantic entertainment groups from South Korea and Japan.

At the event, all visitors can experience Korean culture such as Korean food, K-cosmetics, K-fashion, K-Drama and Korea tourism at the booths inside the convention hall. We can see many popular artists performed the live concert and shared their experience in the talk shows on the stage.

It's first times to see Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC) runway in KCON this year. Many K-POP and J-POP stars include renowned Japanese young models stepped on the catwalk at the convention hall.

Moreover, Pentagon's Japanese member "Yuta" also took the role as MC all 3 days from morning until sunset. All fans also can meet their favourite artists closely at MEET & GREET as well!

Highlights in KCON 2023 JAPAN Concert

Day 1

The first day of the concert is kicked off by many cool performances from 7 artist groups. 8TURN, another youngest group who had just debuted a few month ago, showed their abilities on the stage as the first group in KCON 2023 JAPAN this year.

Started from the song "TIC TAC + World" and "We", followed by JUST B, a boys group showed their 2 hit songs "Damage" and "Get Away". It's said that both 8TURN and JUST B are another new rising groups who will rock the world after pandemic.

Followed by 6 members of a girls group STAYC (acronym for "Star To A Young Culture") who changed the mood with the song "Teddy Bear" and "ASAP"

Rapper YENA performed the solo debut song "Intro Perf + Smiley" and "Smartphone" from her second mini album.

Another impressive show of the day was a performance by The Boyz with 3 popular songs "Roar", "Breaking Dawn" and "Thrill Ride"

NiziU, a Japanese girl group formed by JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Japan showed their hit songs like "Paradise", "Take a Picture" and "CLAP CLAP".

Ending the first day concert with INI, a Japanese boys group with their latest song "Spectra", "Do What You Like" and ended with a cool song "Fanfare", opened up an opportunity to connect the international fans in Japan with Korean artists.

Day 2

On the second day at concert hall, started from ATEEZ who surprised fans at the side of the stage with a signature song "Guerilla" and followed by ATBO with the song "Next to me" and "Attitude", heated up the atmosphere on the stage.

ATBO, a Korean boy group with 7 members formed in 2022 through a survival competition "The Original-A, B, Or What?". This year, they were also elected as the PR ambassador for "Korea Forest Love Youth 2023".

Then, the six Japanese boys DXTEEN members took the stage with "Brand New Day" and farewell to the stage with a popular debut song "Come Over", followed by a performance from XG, a Japanese girl group based in South Korea with their signature song "Shooting Star" and "Left Right"

Next, LE SSERAFIM made a stunning show with the latest single "Unforgiven" and "No Return" which was released this year.

After that, AB6IX (A-B-Six), a 4 Korean boys group strikingly appeared to show the song "Mirror" and "Breathe"

VIVIZ gave a memorable memories to all fans with the song "Pull Up" and "Bop Bop!"

Then, JO01, a Japanese boys group from Produce 101 season 1 performed the song "Tiger", "We Good" and "Comma".

Ending the second day's concert with a show from ATEEZ who backed to the stage again with coolest show starting from the song "Halazia" which its MV was filmed in Thailand, "Still Here" and "Wonderful".

Day 3

On the third day, the concert is kicked off by ENHYPEN with a song "Drunk-Dazed", Followed by Xikers, TEMPEST and Kepie.

Then iKON opened with their legendary three hit songs; Tantara (딴따라), U and Freedom (바람)

Followed by ZEROBASEONE and ITZY, before closing the KCON 2023 JAPAN concert by ENHYPHEN with their hit songs like "Blssed-Cursed", "Polaroid Love" and "Future Perfect".

Moreover, there were also many performances by Korean and Japanese artists at the convention hall such as AleXa, ALICE, Busters, CSR, Kingdom, Lee Min-Hyuk, Sanha, Nine.i, Purple Kiss, GeatGuys, akane, ILY:1, JG, PinkFantasy, TFN, YOUNITE, TRI.BE, Limelight and many more.

KCON 2023 Japan, one of the biggest Korean music festivals sharing the happiness and memorable memories from K-POP inspired artists and many special activities at the venue, include MEET & GREET shows.
