This collective effort aims to establish the riverside of the Chao Phraya as the top global countdown destination in Thailand, a tradition that continues every year. The Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, ICONSIAM, government partners, and the riverside communities have joined forces to organize the Amazing Thailand Countdown 2024 at ICONSIAM, an unprecedented celebration that marks the transition from the old year to the new year in a way never seen before in Thailand.


The Amazing Thailand Countdown 2024 brings together all the best aspects for a grand celebration welcoming the new year over 3 days and 3 nights. This marks the first time ICONSIAM celebrates the new year on such a large scale for three consecutive days from December 29 to 31, 2023. The event aims to deliver joy to everyone in a truly auspicious manner, commemorating the 5th anniversary of ICONSIAM under the theme "The Unrivaled Phenomenon of SIAM", ushering in a new era for Thailand.

It is a result of the combined effort of a professional Thai team and a world-renowned, expert fireworks director, winner of the 2023 fireworks contest at the Shinmei Fireworks Festival in Japan.

Moreover, ICONSIAM has organized a photography competition under the theme 'The Unrivaled Phenomenon of SIAM', offering prizes worth more than 200,000 Baht. This competition reflects the happiness and beauty captured during the fireworks display on the New Year's Eve. Renowned individuals such as Mr. Tulyan Hiranrallya Won, the president of the Thai Photographers Association, along with Mr. Chulawit Santhipong and Ms. Waraporn Suraratchak, served as qualified judges. Additionally, the competition was honored to have the talented actress Nitcha Natthnicha Watananirut as part of the judging panel. Participants were given the opportunity to showcase their photographic skills in capturing the essence of the mesmerizing fireworks display.
