GROUNDS x UNDERCOVER
GROUNDS announced a collaboration collection with Jun Takahashi's UNDERCOVER for 2025-26 autumn/winter Men’s collection on January 2025. The collaborative items were also unveiled for UNDERCOVER’s 2025-26AW Men’s collection exhibition and images.
UNDERCOVER, founded in 1993 by Jun Takahashi, is a Japanese streetwear brand that has won countless awards through its iconic avant-garde designs and rebellious spirit, influenced by the beauty of arts, punk, rock music, street culture and Japanese aesthetics, reinterpreted them in luxury street fashion.
Before becoming a fashion designer, Jun Takahashi was a singer in a punk rock band "Tokyo Sex Pistols", a tribute band to the Sex Pistols. During he was a singer, Takahashi's style was influenced by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren and the Sex Pistols.
Until late 80s, Takahashi was impressed by the design of Rei Kawakubo’s COMME des GARÇONS and inspired him switch to the fashion industry. Takahashi decided to study fashion design at Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo, where he later met Fujiwara and Nigo. Jun founded UNDERCOVER in 1990 while he was still a student.
GROUNDS is a brand with its distinctive sole shape, create under the concept "LEAP GRAVITY", "bringing a change in the relationship between humans and gravity (Earth)" and "Creating a human image centered on the outsole and the ground, which are the points of contact between humans and gravity (Earth)." From 25S/S, Grounds first released its collection at Paris Fashion Week, currently (January 2025) operating 145 stores across 22 countries.

GROUNDS (กราวด์) เปิดตัวคอลเลกชันร่วมกับ UNDERCOVER (อันเดอร์คัฟเวอร์) สำหรับคอลเลกชันบุรุษ ประจำฤดูใบไม้ร่วง/ฤดูหนาว 2025-26 ไอเท็มที่ร่วมสร้างสรรค์ชุดนี้ยังเปิดตัวในเป็นคอลเลกชันฤดูใบไม้ร่วง/ฤดูหนาวปี 2025-26 สำหรับผู้ชายของ UNDERCOVER ด้วย
UNDERCOVER ก่อตั้งในปี 1993 โดยจุน ทาคาฮาชิ ดีไซเนอร์ชาวญี่ปุ่น อีกหนึ่งสตรีทแฟชั่นสัญชาติญี่ปุ่นที่มีชื่อเสียงระดับโลก คว้ารางวัลมากมายจากดีไซน์ที่ดูล้ำยุค รวมทั้งจิตวิญญาณความเป็นขบถต่อสังคมกระแสหลัก ได้รับอิทธิพลจากความงามของศิลปะ พังก์ ดนตรีร็อค วัฒนธรรมสตรีท และสุนทรียะความงามแบบญี่ปุ่น นำมาตีความใหม่กลายเป็นลักชัวรี่สตรีท
ก่อนจะมาเป็นแฟชั่นดีไซเนอร์ จุน ทาคาฮาชิเคยเป็นนักร้องในวงพังก์ร็อก Tokyo Sex Pistols (โตเกียว เซ็กส์พิสตอล) เป็นวงดนตรีที่เลียนแบบวง Sex Pistols (เซ็กส์พิสตอล) ที่กำลังเป็นที่นิยมทั่วโลกในเวลานั้น ในช่วงเป็นนักร้อง สไตล์การแต่งตัวของเขาได้รับอิทธิพลจากเสื้อผ้าแบรนด์ Vivienne Westwood (วิเวียน เวสต์วู้ด), Malcolm McLaren (มัลคอล์ม แมคโลเรน) และวง Sex Pistols
ช่วงปลายยุค 80 จุน ทาคาฮาชิเริ่มสนใจดีไซน์แบรนด์ COMME des GARÇONS (กอมม์ เด กาซง) ของดีไซเนอร์เรอิ คาวะคุโบ สร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้เขาหันมาทำงานอย่างจริงจังในวงการแฟชั่น ทาคาฮาชิตัดสินใจเข้าเรียนสาขาออกแบบแฟชั่นที่สถาบันแฟชั่นบุงกะ (Bunka Fashion College) ในโตเกียว ต่อมาได้พบกับฟุจิวาระ และนิโก จากนั้นได้ตั้งแบรนด์ของตัวเองในชื่อ UNDERCOVER เมื่อปี 1990 ขณะยังเป็นนักศึกษาในสถาบันนั่นเอง
GROUNDS เป็นอีกแบรนด์ที่น่าจับตามอง ความโดดเด่นอยู่ที่รูปทรงพื้นรองเท้าที่ไม่เหมือนใคร ออกแบบภายใต้แนวคิด LEAP GRAVITY, "นำการเปลี่ยนแปลงมาสู่ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมนุษย์กับแรงโน้มถ่วงโลก" และ "สร้างภาพลักษณ์ความเป็นมนุษย์ ด้วยการเน้นที่พื้นรองเท้ากับพื้นดินซึ่งเป็นจุดสัมผัสระหว่างมนุษย์กับแรงโน้มถ่วงโลก" เปิดตัวคอลเลกชั่น 25S/S ครั้งแรกในงานปารีสแฟชั่นวีค จนถึงปัจจุบัน (มีอัพเดทล่าสุดเดือนมกราคม 2568) มีสโตร์กว่า 145 แห่งใน 22 ประเทศทั่วโลก
