Designers and fashion entrepreneurs from Africa strike a pose near the bund during Shanghai Fashion Week.
African fashion designers from South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and more 12 countries in Africa unveiled their collections first time in Shanghai Fashion Week 2025 last March, showcased a range of traditional design and Afrofuturism from 22 brands.
The key designers including Rich Mnisi, David Tlale, Mzukisi Mbane (Imprint ZA), Palesa Mokubung (Mantsho), and the creative duo Jessica Jane and Wandile Molebatsi (Molebatsi), expanding their opportunity to China market and global buyers from Southeast Asia, South Korea and Japan.
Although he didn't introduce his brand this time, but Laduma Ngxokolo, founder and designer of MaXhosa also came to cheer his fellow South African designers.

ดีไซน์เนอร์คนสำคัญที่มาร่วมงาน อาทิ Rich Mnisi, David Tlale, Mzukisi Mbane (Imprint ZA), Palesa Mokubung (Mantsho) รวมทั้งคู่หูนักสร้างสรรค์ Jessica Jane และ Wandile Molebatsi (Molebatsi) เป็นก้าวสำคัญกับการขยายโอกาสบุกตลาดจีนรวมทั้งผู้ซื้อจากเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ เกาหลีใต้ และญี่ปุ่น
แม้ว่าครั้งนี้ Laduma Ngxokolo ดีไซเนอร์ เจ้าของลักชัวรี่แบรนด์ MaXhosa จากแอฟริกาใต้ไม่ได้เปิดตัวแบรนด์ของตัวเองในงานนี้ แต่เขาก็มาร่วมงานด้วย เพื่อให้กำลังใจทีมดีไซเนอร์ชาวแอฟริกาใต้ด้วยกันเตรียมโกอินเตอร์บุกตลาดโลก
