Japanese actress Yu Kashii (Death note) from "Faceless City" by Gemstone Creative Label (TOHO) on the Red Carpet in Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2025 at Takanawa Gateway City Tokyo.
The film is based on a novel "Faceless City" (顔のない街) which won the grand prize at "Toho x World Maker Short Film Contest" jointly held by Shueisha's "Shonen Jump +" editorial department and Toho in 2023.
Director and screenwriter is actress Riko Murakami, who also participated in a short film project "MIRRORLIAR FILMS".
The protagonist Misa is played by actress Mizuki Yoshida, who gained attention for her role in "Look Back". Yu Kashii will appear as the director of a face clinic. A new sci-fi psychological horror story with a sense of tension, starring by many renowned actors.
