Actor Keita Machida, Eiji Akaso and all lead cast attended the after-premiere event

Actor Keita Machida, Eiji Akaso and all lead cast joinned an event after premiered a movie "Cherry Magic The MOVIE" on 9th April 2022 at 10.00 and 13.15 in selected cinema via streaming to theaters nationwide.

The Stage Appearance by the lead actors (Eiji Akaso, Kodai Asaka, Yūtarō, Takuya Kusakawa (Bullet Train), Ryō Satō, Suzunosuke,  director Hiroki Kazama and Keita Machida).

Keita Machida who himself announced that he got sick in COVID-19 on 28th March. Today Keita confirmed on his Instagram that he have recovered and thanked to all fans for warming message.

Yū Toyota, the author of the "Cherry magic THE MOVIE" revealed on her Twitter that a part of the revenue from the sold ticket will be donated to "Marriage For All Japan", an organization aiming to improve the right of same-sex marriage in Japan. The marriage story in the film also spark this hot issue in Japan again after Yuriko Koike, a current governor of Tokyo announced to support their equal right in Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly last December.

"I hope that we will have a society where your beloved one can be fulfilled in the way they want, regardless of gender. # Freedom of marriage for everyone",

"Cherry Magic The MOVIE" continue from the series when Adachi (Eiji Akaso) who got magic and he can read the others' mind by touch them before his 30th birthday. He met Kurosawa (Keita Machida) who working at the same company. He found that Kurosawa liked him and now he will be transferred to work in Nagasaki and the faraway distance make them realized to the future.

The series is aired since last year October and it became hit in Asia. The hashtags #cherrymagic also ranked the top in Thailand, it was like the day when JPOP hit the region last 20 years ago.

ยู โทโยตะ นักเขียนมังกะเจ้าของผลงาน "เชอรี่เมจิค" เผยทางทวิตเตอร์ส่วนตัวว่ารายได้ส่วนหนึ่งจากการจำหน่ายตั๋วภาพยนตร์จะนำไปบริจาคให้กับองค์กร Marriage For All Japan ที่ส่งเสริมและเรียกร้องสิทธิการแต่งงานของคู่รักเพศเดียวกันในญี่ปุ่น การแต่งงานของตัวละครนำในเรื่องยังจุดประกายประเด็นสิทธิเสรีภาพการแต่งงานอีกครั้ง หลังจากยูริโกะ โคอิเคะ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดโตเกียวคนปัจจุบันออกตัวเร่งส่งเสริมสิทธิเสรีภาพให้กับกลุ่ม LGBTQ ในสภานครโตเกียวเมื่อเดือนธันวาคมที่ผ่านมา หลังจากที่ไต้หวันสามารถผลักดันได้สำเร็จเป็นชาติแรกในเอเชีย

ภาพยนตร์เรื่อง "เชอร์รี่เมจิค The MOVIE" เล่าเรื่องราวตอนต่อจากเวอร์ชั่นละคร หลังจากที่ "อาดาจิ" (เออิจิ อาคะโซ) ค้นพบว่าตนมีเวทย์มนต์ สามารถอ่านใจคนอื่นได้ด้วยการใช้มือสัมผัสร่างคนนั้นก่อนอายุ 30 ปี จนพบกับ "คุโรซาว่า" (เคตะ มาจิดะ) เพื่อนร่วมงาน ชายหนุ่มที่สาวๆ ในออฟฟิศต่างหมายปอง เขาค้นพบว่าแท้จริงแล้วคุโรซาว่าแอบอยู่และเก็บความรู้สึกใว้ในใจ อาดาจิก้าวหน้าในหน้าที่การงาน ต้องไปประจำที่สาขาเมืองนากาซากิ ระยะทางที่ห่างไกลทำให้พวกเขาเริ่มคิดถึงอนาคต เราจะได้ชมพัฒนาการที่เติบโตอีกขั้นของตัวละครนำหลังจากผ่านช่วง poppy love ในเวอร์ชั่นละคร การแยกกันอยู่ในเมืองที่ห่างไกลอย่างนางาซากิ ยังทำให้หลายๆ คนหวนนึกถึงคืนวันที่เต็มไปด้วยความเหงาขณะแยกกันอยู่กับคนรักกว่า 2 ปี เตรียมตัวชมภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้กัน กำหนดฉายในไทยกลางปีนี้
