Fragments of the Last Will, the opening film in Tokyo film festival 2022

"Fragments of the Last Will" (ラーゲリより愛を込めて) is selected as the opening film for Tokyo International Film Festival 2022. The true love story spanning 11 years about a man battling to keep faith that one day, he will be able to return home to be reunited with his wife. At the end of the World War 2nd, over 600,000 Japanese became prisoners of war, forced into Siberian gulags.

Despite the cruelty and despair around him, Yamamoto Hatao perseveres. Director Zeze Takahisa vividly depicts Yamamoto 's fight to survive and keep hope alive for himself and his fellow POWs.

Ninomiya Kazunari, Kitagawa Keiko, and other top actors in the Japanese film industry co-star in this touching epic that sheds light on a dark period in history.

ภาพยนตร์ญี่ปุ่นเรื่อง Fragments of the Last Will (ラーゲリより愛を込めて) ได้รับเลือกให้เป็นภาพยนตร์เปิดตัวในงานเทศกาลภาพยนตร์นานาชาติโตเกียวปี 2022 

ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวความรักที่ไม่เคยเปลี่ยนแปลงตลอดช่วงเวลา 11 ปีของชายคนหนึ่งที่ต่อสู้พร้อมกับความหวังว่าสักวันหนึ่งเขาจะได้กลับบ้าน กลับไปพบกับภรรยาและเพื่อนสนิทอีกครั้ง 

แต่ทว่าเมื่อสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 สิ้นสุดลง ชาวญี่ปุ่นมากกว่า 600,000 คนกลายเป็นเชลยศึกและถูกบังคับให้อยู่ในค่ายกักกันที่เขตไซบีเรียอันหนาวเหน็บ แม้ชีวิตต้องเผชิญกับความโหดร้ายและความสิ้นหวังที่เห็นอยู่รอบตัว แต่ยามาโมโตะ ฮาทาโอะ (คาสุนาริ นิโนมิยะ) ยังคงอดทนและเฝ้าคอยที่จะได้กลับบ้านด้วยความหวัง
