Phases of the Moon

"Phases of the Moon" (月の満ち欠け) is one of the healthfelt stories from Japan this year. The film make its world premiere in Tokyo International Film Festival 2022.

Touching all hearts through the feeling of loss. Kei Osanai (Yo Oizumi) shared the best moment with his wife Kozue (Kou Shibasaki) and daughter Ruri, before both of them suddenly died from an accident.

Akihiko Misumi (Ren Meguro, Snowman's member), a stranger came to meet Kei Osanai and telling what happened on that day. Hearing another love story and redefine it by your own feelings this Winter and see Ren Meguro's acting as his first movie.

ดัดแปลงจากนวนิยายที่คว้ารางวัล Naoki Sanjugo Prize เมื่อปี 2017 พาเราไปสัมผัสความรู้สึกของคนทีาต้องสูญเสียคนรักแบบกะทันหัน ย้อนรอยตามหาความทรงจำที่เปรียบเสมือนแสงแห่งความหวัง สร้างกำลังใจให้ชีวิตต้องเดินต่อไป เรื่องราวของ "เค โอซาไน" (โย โออิซุมิ) ใช้ชีวิตอย่างมีความสุขกับภรรยา (โค ชิบาซากิ) และลูกสาว ก่อนที่ทั้งคู่จะเสียชีวิตจากอุบัติเหตุ อากิฮิโกะ มิซูมิ (เร็น เมกุโระ สมาชิกวง Snowman) ชายหนุ่มคนแปลกหน้าที่ไม่เคยรู้จักกันมาก่อนเดินทางมาพบกับ "เค โอซาไน" บอกเล่าสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นก่อนวันที่ทั้งสองจะเสียชีวิต

ความรักสามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตของคนๆ หนึ่งให้กลายเป็นคนสิ้นเนื้อประดาตัว แต่ในขณะเดียวกันก็สามารถสร้างความหวังได้ในเวลาเดียวกัน  ลองตามหานิยามของคำว่า "รัก" ในแบบตัวคุณเองจากภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้กัน และยังเป็นหนังเรื่องแรกที่ "เร็น เมกุโระ" แสดงอีกด้วย
