60th Anniversary JUN ASHIDA and TAE ASHIDA collection in Tokyo

To commemorate 60th Anniversary for the brands, JUN ASHIDA and TAE ASHIDA held the first collaborative runway show at Tokyo's Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Square on 26 October 2023.

Not only the newest items, but the music in the show is also stunningly performed by Tetsuya Komuro, a legendary Japanese artist along with Shuzo Ohira, a new generation fashion icon and DJ.

Many top models on the runway include Ai Tominaga, Rina Fukushi, Miki Ehara. Invitation guests like Ballastik Boyz members, Harumi Sato, Matt Kuwata, Novel Core, Kiko Inagaki and more. Girolamo Panzetta, an Italian celebrity who working in Japan also appeared as a model.

Jun Ashida is a Japanese designer who served as a personal dress maker for Empress Michiko. His daughter Tae Ashida, also became a fashion designer and designs both JUN ASHIDA and TAE ASHIDA label.
