On May 22, the 185 Films page, an independent film company had announced that "A Useful Ghost", the first feature film by Thai director Ratchapoom Boonbanchachoke, has received the AMI Paris Grand Prize, the highest award that the committee will give to the best feature film of the year in the Semaine de la Critique competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Starring by Mai Davika Hoorne, Wisarut Himmarat, Apasiri Nitiphon.
After "Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives" by Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul won the Palme d'Or in the main competition last 15 years ago.
The page "Man On Film" also revealed the director's feelings while he receiving the top award at the Cannes Film Festival.
“I would like to dedicate this film to all the ghosts in Thailand, whether they are useful or not. I hope that this film will make all those ghosts be more visible and heard, so that more people will talk about them than ever. Thank you.”

เมื่อวันที่ 22 พฤษภาคม เพจ 185 Films ผู้สร้างหนังอิสระได้แจ้งว่า “ผีใช้ได้ค่ะ” หนังยาวเรื่องแรกของผู้กำกับคนไทย รัชฏ์ภูมิ บุญบัญชาโชคได้รับรางวัล AMI Paris Grand Prize ซึ่งเป็นรางวัลสูงสุดที่คณะกรรมการจะมอบให้กับหนังยาวยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปีในการประกวด Semaine de la Critique งานเทศกาลหนังเมืองคานส์ 2025 นำแสดงโดยใหม่ ดาวิกา โฮเน่, วิศรุต หิมรัต และอาภาศิริ นิติพน, วิศรุต หิมรัตน์
นอกจากนี้ ทางเพจ Man On Film ยังกล่าวถึงความรู้สึกของตัวผู้กำกับ ขณะขึ้นรับรางวัล Grand Prix ในงานเทศกาลภาพยนตร์เมืองคานส์ด้วย
