Mint Magazine Thailand celebrates its 5th anniversary with the first exhibition “MINT 5 Years of Freshness” during 20 June - 3 July 2025, represent the exclusive contents from Mint Magazine since the first issue to the latest one, along with official products from artists and celebrities, including special limited-edition products by Mint magazine available only at this event!

They officially opened the exhibition “MINT 5 Years of Freshness” at Siam Center, Bangkok.

Sichuan week in Osaka

Glimpse of the SICHUAN WEEK in Osaka, showcasing "Made in Sichuan brands and goods including food, Sichuan's iconic rice whisky brand "Wuliangye" , Sichuan tea and more from Chengdu and Deyang city at Hilton Osaka, along with China pavilion in expo 2025 during 28 - 30 April 2025.

SICHUAN WEEK is held both at China pavilion in expo 2025 and Hilton Osaka in downtown. From the exhibition, tradeshow to China Night (Panda Night), the image of giant panda captivated all guests' hearts at the event.

Under the theme "The Splendid Bashu Culture, Together For A Better Future," the Sichuan Week features events such as exhibitions, cultural performances and investment promotions in both Osaka and Sichuan.

As the first province to make its debut in the China Pavilion, Sichuan brought its intangible cultural heritage products such as Shu embroidery, lacquerware, bamboo weaving items, and oil-paper umbrellas, as well as IP cultural and creative products featuring giant pandas and golden snub-nosed monkeys.

Thailand's soft power is promoted in Tokyo this winter

Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce, promoted Thailand's soft power on December 23, 2024 at Daikanyama T-Site, Tokyo, Japan.

Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce, gave an interview after promoting Thailand's soft power at Daikanyama T-Site, Tokyo, Japan. He was a witness at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for 3 projects: the MOU between the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce or DITP and MIARAWASHIYA LLC to promote Thailand's soft power through Japanese manga. DITP with KENELEPHANT Co., Ltd. to distribute and promote Thailand's soft power through gachapon machines (a type of vending machine that dispenses capsule toys), and the MOU between the Thai Handicraft Promotion Institute or SACIT with OMIYA Co.ltd to use Thai fabric under the project "Thai Fabrics, Fun to Wear” (ผ้าไทยใส่ให้สนุก) produces kimono for sale throughout Japan.

He said the signing ceremony of 3 Memorandums of Understanding and Agreements between the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand and Japan, linking the culture, economy and society of Japan with Thailand. Moreover, 5 Thai products will be available in the form of Gachapon in Japan ("Nong Mamuang" - Thai manga's character, "Chang Beer" - Thai beer, "Mama" - Thai cup noodle, canned Rambutan - Thai fruits and Thai Train). Thainess will be incorporated into manga and Thai fabric will be used to make Japanese kimonos, helping to create awareness of Thai products and Thai culture.

"The success of this visit to Japan is much better than expected. I met Japanese businessmen, investors, academics and media. Cooperation between the two countries must increase in the future. Many large Japanese investors have expressed their readiness to invest in Thailand. I'm glad that the investment outlook this time is good. I believe that Japan will definitely return to be the no.1 in Thailand investment. Japanese people who come to live in Thailand feel like they are at home and love to live in Thailand because the cultures are connected at every level", he said.
