Kyocera Dome Osaka was swept up in a wave of historical fantasy and J-pop idol energy on August 13, 2026. The 9-member idol group iLiFE! took over the Kansai Collection 2026 Autumn & Winter runway, executing a crossover of heritage and street fashion. Walking for the sugar nine Special Stage, the group traded their usual signature stage outfits for an enchanting array of traditional Hanfu-inspired couture.
The theme for this season's sugar nine stage leaned heavily into a Halloween-inspired fairytale. Instead of standard western costumes, iLiFE! redefined runway theatricality by introducing a coordinated fleet of pastel and vibrant Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) aesthetics. Each member’s look was meticulously tailored to reflect their individual color palettes and unique stage personas, effortlessly bridging the gap between historical romanticism and "kawaii" culture.
