Muay Thai boxer Buakaw faces Kota Miura at Rajadamnern Stadium

Kota Miura, a pro MMA boxer arrived to Bangkok by ANA flight on 15 August. The press conference is held on the next day (16 August) before he facing Buakaw Banchamek, a legendary Muay Thai boxer and two-time K-1 World MAX champion who will return to the historical arena of Rajdamnoen stadium first times in 18 years on 19 August 2022.

Many Thai fans waiting Kota at the airport. It will be one of the most exciting match to show the adapted form of Muay Thai, a Thai traditional martial arts and kick boxing format which both will show their highlights on the ring.

The event will also feature music with Thailand’s most popular hip hop artist "Joey Boy" and "Gancore Club".

From an interview Kota talked about his dream, one of the inspirations to be a professional boxer is begun by chance. One day, Kota turns on TV, he had an opportunity to watch Tenshin Nasukawa's match. Tenshin was on RIZIN stage, so he admired him so much and wanted to fight on RIZIN stage like him. What he saw by chance that day, it could influence him to chasing for a dream on the path he decided. The long-awaited fight between Buakao Banchamek and Kota Miura will finally take place this Friday 19th August.
