JO1, one of the most popular Japanese boy band formed through a reality competition show Produce 101 Japan (season 1) with 11 members stepping on the Red Carpet in K-CON Japan 2023 on 14 May 2023, also performing their live concert along with other K-POP groups at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture.
Although the band was debuted right before the pandemic and K-POP's popularity in streaming format, but JO1 introduced a new phenomenon for Japan's music industries by combining K-pop sensation with iconic J-POP through Japan's Yoshimoto Kogyo and Korea's CJ ENM, became one of the hottest groups in Japan.
