Empress Saimei, one of the only five female emperors in Japan history is said to have performed the sacred rites here. One day, the fire ball which is mentioned to the spirit of Soga no Iruka, who is supposed to be a Korean clan nobleman appeared at front of empress Saimei, after the assassination at the throne hall inside the palace last 1,400 years ago.
