"Chicken Fest® SAITAMA 2025", a Korean chicken-themed food festival, will be held at Keyaki Hiroba in Saitama New City for 6 days from 8 - 13 October 2025.

Korea is known globally for having a various kind of chicken restaurants, including fried chicken and Dakgalbi. This is a rare opportunity to experience the  Korea's chicken food culture in Japan!  There are a wide selection of craft beers that perfect with chicken. Enjoy your "Korean gourmet trip" this autumn!

The classic fried chicken will be served over 10 different flavors, from the original taste everyone love to unique recipes waiting you to explore! In addition, we also have creative menus which combine the chicken and Korean cuisine, such as chicken x kimbap and chicken x Korean Pancake. Japanese film "Blue Amber" premiere in Osaka Asian Film Festival this Summer

"Blue Amber", a Japanese film is set its world premiere in Osaka Asian Film Festival (29 Aug - 6 Sep 2025), following the story of a photographer Shoya Kizaki  who aspires to become a film director. Despite being a cheerful and sociable guy, he feels that he has never loved anyone and he also feels somewhat lonely. Eventually, Shoya begins to wonder if there is something wrong with him for not being able to fall in love with someone…

PERVERZE TEMPORARY PRESENCE

Tokyo-based fashion brand PERVERZE presenting and selling the crafted works by sculptor Hideki Iinuma at their newly opened "PERVERZE TEMPORARY PRESENCE."

Nagano Prefecture who are active both in Japan and abroad. Inspired by a single photography, his works are carved from a single piece of wood, characterized by a rough appearance that deliberately retains the texture of the wood and the calmness emotions that emerge from it. His sculptures capture the "now" of women who living in today's consumer society, and resonates deeply with PERVERZE's values of "inner strength" and "beauty of appearance."

Kudo Tsukasa's solo exhibition at SHABA KAGURAZAKA Tokyo

We are pleased to announce that Okinawa-born Japanese designer Kudo Tsukasa will launch a solo exhibition at SHABA KAGURAZAKA , Tokyo this month.

Kudo's first collection of works, "he was, he is," designed by Aaron Nieh, a leading graphic designer in Taiwan, as well as limited edition T-shirts and notebooks made in collaboration with SHABA KAGURAZAKA are available at the exhibition.

Kudo has presented his work in multiple methods and various occasions, this is your chance to explore his personal growth, techniques and styles during that last decade since he began taking photos.

"Yugao" is one of the stunning performances in Kyoto's Takigi Noh this year

During the glory morning blooming, a handsome prince Hikaru Genji met lady Yugao at her mansion and their love story begun. Unfortunately, lady Yugao was killed by an evil spirit. One day, a monk came to meet her at the mansion where she used to lived, he chanting a Lotus sutra and then Yugao ghost disappeared.

"The Tale of Genji" or “Genji Monogatari” is written by Murasaki Shikibu, a lady-in-waiting in 11th century. Yugao's love is eternities and it's a stunning show in 74th Takigi Noh at Heian Jingu Shrine, an annually performing on Monday 2nd June 2025, one of the biggest Noh performance in Kyoto prefecture.

Yugao, one of the oldest Noh plays by Zeami, based on the story of Yugao (Lady Morning Glory). The traditional mask dancers in their gorgeous Kimonos dancing elegantly in the rain. The lights and shadows drew its mystery beauty and Japanese aesthetics with the ambient of Kyoto imperial palace at the Heian Shrine.

ยามเมื่อดอกมอร์นิ่งกลอรี่ผลิบาน เจ้าชายหนุ่มรูปงาม "ฮิคารุ เก็นจิ" ได้พบรักครั้งใหม่กับ "แม่นางยูกาโอ" ที่ตำหนักของเธอ เรื่องราวความรักได้เริ่มขึ้น แต่จบลงอย่างแสนรันทด แม่นางยูกาโอถูกคุณไสยจาก "พระนางโรคุโจ" พระชายาของเจ้าชายเกนจิที่จิตใจเต็มไปด้วยความริษยาอาฆาตแค้น ยูกาโอโดนของเข้าและถูกสังหารโดยผีร้ายที่ถูกปล่อยมาในตำหนักของเธอ วันหนึ่ง พระภิกษุสงฆ์รูปหนึ่งเดินธุดงค์ผ่านตำหนักร้างสถานที่ที่ยูกาโอเคยอาศัยอยู่ ผีแม่นางยูกาโอปรากฏกาย พระท่านได้แผ่เมตตาและสวดมนต์ "สัทธรรมปุณฑรีกสูตร" นางเข้าถึงรสพระธรรมแล้วเลือนลับหายไปกับสายลม

"เก็นจิ โมโนงาตาริ" ประพันธ์โดยมูราซากิ ชิกิบุ นางสนองพระโอษฐ์ในตำหนักฝ่ายในของพระมเหสี มีชีวิตในศตวรรษที่ 11 ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวความรักอันแสนบริสุทธ์และเป็นนิรันดร์ของยูกาโอ หนึ่งในการแสดง "ทาคิกิ โนห์" ครั้งที่ 74 ที่ศาลเจ้าเฮอัน จัดแสดงเป็นประจำทุกปีระหว่างวันที่ 1-2 มิถุนายน และได้รับการยกให้เป็นการแสดงละครโนห์กลางแจ้งที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของนครเกียวโต เมืองหลวงเก่าของญี่ปุ่น

Noh Master Norishige Udaka in Kyoto's Takigi Noh 2025

Japanese master Norishige Udaka in 74th annual Takigi Noh at Heian Jingu Shrine in Kyoto on 2nd June 2025.

Noh and Kyogen is also designated as living national treasure and an “Intangible Cultural Heritage” by UNESCO.

Master Norishige Udaka is known as the Noh performance dancer under Kongo style of Noh school. From beginning, he debuted on the stage as a child actor under his father, Michinari Udaka.

After training, he became a professional Noh actor and has participated in many oversea performances. He is a professor at Ehime University Noh Performance Research Society, a film acting instructor for Shochiku and Toei, and working to popularize Noh performance by introducing at schools and workshops for beginners. He received the Kyoto City Art Newcomer Award in 2022. 

Not only being appreciated by locals as "National treasure", but Noh is also "World heritage" and represent "Japanese-ness identities" in global stage.

หลังฝึกฝนจนฉ่ำชอง กลายเป็นนักแสดงละครโนห์มืออาชีพ ได้ออกแสดงในต่างประเทศหลายครั้ง รวมทั้งเป็นศาสตราจารย์ที่สมาคมวิจัยการแสดงละครโนห์ มหาวิทยาลัยเอฮิเมะ เป็นอาจารย์สอนนักแสดงหนังและละครให้กับบริษัทภาพยนตร์ค่าย Shochiku และ Toei และยังทำงานไม่หยุดเพื่อเผยแพร่ละครโนห์ให้เป็นที่รู้จักไปทั่วโลก ถ่ายทอดศิลปะการแสดงทั้งในสถาบันการศึกษาต่างๆ และจัดเวิร์กช็อปให้กับผู้สนใจได้เรียนรู้ จนได้รับรางวัลนักแสดงดาวรุ่งด้านศิลปะของเกียวโต หรือ Kyoto City Art Newcomer Award ในปี 2022

Sichuan week in Osaka

SICHUAN WEEK started from 28 until 30 April 2025 at China pavilion in expo 2025 and Hilton Osaka in downtown. From the exhibition, tradeshow to China Night (Panda Night), the image of giant panda captivated all guests' hearts and it is one of the beloved icons at the event.

As the first Chinese province to organize a dedicated week at the China Pavilion, Sichuan presents a comprehensive program aligned with the pavilion's core theme through 3 thematic dimensions: "Encountering Sichuan", "Experiencing Sichuan", and "Promoting Sichuan".

During Sichuan Week, an exhibition area titled "Sichuan Products Shine at the Expo" will be established in downtown Osaka. This area will feature a comprehensive display of enterprises and products from diverse sectors, including food and beverage, chemicals and light industry, geographical indication products, and medical health.

Additionally, several inbound tourism routes will be launched, such as the Sichuan World Heritage Classic Tour, the Sichuan Cute Panda Ecological Tour, and the Sichuan Gourmet Tour.

After the opening ceremony, the Yoru no Panda (Panda Night) gala dinner with the special shows is held at Hilton hotel Osaka.
