First times in Japan in WATERBOMB Nagoya

"WATERBOMB JAPAN 2023" in Nagoya is held at Aichi Sky Expo Multipurpose Area zone A in Aichi prefecture on July 22nd and 23rd.

"WATERBOMB" is a summer music festival originated from South Korea, known as the "Water Fighting" team battle by audiences and artists who play the water guns together. This year is the first times in Japan. The first day is scheduled on July 15th and 16th at Maishima Sports Island in Osaka, but the Osaka event was canceled due to an accident during the venue's construction. 

On the first day in Nagoya on July 22nd, KWON EUNBI, BE'O, Sik-K, Coogie, Woo, GOT7's Yugyeom, MAMAMOO+, Hyuna, TREASURE, Sunmi and KARA appeared on the stage. 

The most exciting performance was by TREASURE with all.members who participated "WATERBOMB" for the first times. They performed many popular songs such as "JIKJIN" and "I LOVE YOU". KARA showed as the last group on the first day. They said that it had been 8 years since they had visited Nagoya. They performed  "restart single" "WHEN I MOVE",  "Mister" and "GO GO Summer!", completed the first day's performance with a message "See you again!"

The performers on the 2nd day is Chanmina, HAON, GIRIBOY & Kid Milli, pH-1, Loco & GRAY, Eunhyuk & Donghae from SUPER JUNIOR, D-LITE (DAESUNG) from BIGBANG, and Jay Park.

Chanmina was the only Japanese artist to participate in this year's "WATERBOMB JAPAN", and as the first act on the second day, she performed several hit songs such as "RED", "B-class", and "Angel". D-LITE also performed "D-Day", a song provided by Hata Motohiro, "VENUS", a song written by Ikimonogakari's Mizuno Yoshiki, as well as BIGBANG's smash hit "FANTASTIC BABY" with his beautiful voice. In order to perform "FANTASTIC BABY", he said that he worked so hard to memorize the Japanese lyrics, make all fans. 

The final act of the 2-day "WATERBOMB JAPAN" Aichi concert was Jay Park, a regular at "WATERBOMB". He performed hits such as "All I Wanna Do" and "Candy" and captivated the audience with his charismatic performance. During the encore, he performed "Who You?" with LOCO and GRAY, bringing the Aichi concert to a close.

"WATERBOMB JAPAN" in Tokyo will be held at the Belluna Dome in Saitama (next to Tokyo) on July 29th and 30th 2023.
