Rajadamnoen World Series in Japan

RWS (Rajadamnoen World Series, the oldest Muay Thai Stadium) announced the new movement about Thai boxing from Ratchadamnoen stadium in Bangkok where is the the birthplace of Muay Thai to world-class arenas around the world.

It has been announced that the first oversea tournament "Rajadamnern World Series in JAPAN" will be held on February 12, 2024 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

Korakuen Hall has been opened since 1962. in 1978, Toshio Fujiwara defeated a Thai boxer Monsawan Luke Chiangmai and he became the first Japanese boxer and the first foreigner champion in Muay Thai history.

Muay Thai fighter Buakaw Banchamek vs Nayanesh Ayman in RWS world series

Bangkok - Buakaw Banchamek, a legendary Muay Thai boxer is  ready to fight with Nayanesh Ayman, a Congolese descent Spanish fighter from Spain in the RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern battle on 2 December 2023 at  Rajadamnern Stadium, Bangkok. This fight is the 2nd times they fought. 

“For this fight as we all knew,  Buakaw revealed that this time it may be his last fight for kickboxing in Thailand.  I believed that this time will be a memorable fight” Thianchai Phisitwuttinun, Executive Chairman of Global Sport Ventures Company Limited and Rajadamnern Boxing Sports Development Committee said at the press conference on 29 November 2023.

Before the world war 2nd ended in 1941, a Thai Prime minister Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram gave orders to build a National Muay Thai Stadium on Rajadamnern Avenue in Bangkok. It became a first modern Thai boxing stadium. In 2022, Muay Thai was supported by government and promote its popularity worldwide included a renovated modern Rajdamnern Stadium and in June 2023, RWS announced to sign a deal with DAZN to distribute tickets globally.

Kota Miura VS Joker Fight Club Thailand in Bangkok

A special match between Kota Miura from Japan and "Joker Fight Club Thailand", a Thai street fighter is held on July 1, 2023 at Bangkok's Rajadamnern Stadium, an oldest Muay Thai main stadium in Thailand. 

It's his second times at the venue after challenged with Buakaw, a legendary Muay Thai fighter last year August.

"Joker Fight Club" put all his heart to fight with Kota Miura after completed 3 rounds in the battle of RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern.

A final match of the battle between "Joker Fight Club", a Thai street fighter, and Kota Miura, a handsome Japanese boxer who is famous for MMA fights. There are many boxing fans traveling to see them at the stadium.  There was a live broadcast on Workpoint TV Channel 23, include Youtube (Workpoint Official) and Facebook  (Workpoint Entertainment).  Moreover, it also streamed live to oversea audience more than 200 countries around the world via DAZN, the sports content streaming group.

The match is organized in a special kickboxing style fighting with 3 rounds. Joker who was heavily underestimated before this match, used both his fists and feet, fought incredibly well and finished in 3 rounds. No one could knock anyone down, but after the fight, the boxing fans around the stadium gave a big applause to both fighters.

It's said that the 4th battle of RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern this times, was so successful. The upcoming 5th battle of RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern will be held bigger, better and stronger by this year. To introduce Ratchadamnoen stadium became one of the world class sports complex, also showcasing Muay Thai a the Soft Power through modern boxing standard and  style.
