Hyunri and Masaki Okada Join 'A Shop for Killers' Season 2, Expanding Babylon's Global Threat to Bangkok

Japan-based Korean actress Hyunri is joining the roster for the second season of its global hit  K-drama "A Shop for Killers" (킬러들의 쇼핑몰 시즌 in Korean, 殺し屋たちの店 - Koroshiya-tachi no Mise in Japanese) .

She is locked in to play "Q," a fierce mercenary team leader governing the East Asia branch of the assassin syndicate known as "Babylon".

Masaki Okada has been cast along with Hyunri as "J," Q's younger brother and co-leader of the East Asia mercenary faction. 

To match the global scale of the Babylon network, it has expanded beyond Seoul, filming in Bangkok Thailand. Co-starring by Lee Dongwook and Kim Hye-Jun. The Season 2 is set to premiere worldwide on July 22, 2026  exclusively on Disney+.

Hyunri, an acclaimed Korean actress is born and raised in Tokyo. She is known globally for her standout roles in hit series like Netflix's Alice in Borderland and Apple TV+'s Pachinko. Fully trilingual in Japanese, Korean and English, she bridges international cinema seamlessly and is married to popular Japanese actor Keita Machida .

We are living in an era where platforms like Netflix are saturated with characters, many of whom are portrayed with incredibly advanced skill levels.
