Mid-Autumn festival in Osaka

Mid-Autumn festival is on the 15th day of the 8th month on the lunar calendar each year which is called 十五夜 in Chinese. This year is on 10th September. The festival dates back to Tang dynasty last thousand  years ago.

It's time for festival and family reunion. In East Asia and Southeast Asia, people wear beautiful clothes and enjoy viewing the moon, eating traditional mooncakes and drinking fragrant osmanthus blossoms wine (Gui Hua in Chinese,  Kinmokusei in Japanese and Dok Hom Muen Li in Thai). It's an exciting time to see many hotels and shops offer their best iconic mooncake only once times a year. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

เทศกาลไหว้พระจันทร์ ตรงกับวันที่ 15 เดือน 8 ตามปฏิทินจีนในแต่ละปี หรือที่เราเรียกกันว่า "วันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ" ซึ่งปีนี้ตรงกับวันที่ 10 กันยายน เป็นเทศกาลเก่าแก่ มีประวัติความเป็นมาย้อนกลับไปถึงสมัยราชวงศ์ถังเมื่อพันกว่าปีก่อนเลยทีเดียว

เป็นช่วงเวลาที่ผู้คนเดินทางกลับบ้านไปเยี่ยมครอบครัว หนุ่มสาวแต่งตัวสวยงามเตรียมชมพระจันทร์ ทานขนมไหว้พระจันทร์ รวมทั้งดื่มเหล้าหอมหมื่นลี้ และยังเป็นช่วงเวลาสนุกๆ ที่เราจะได้เห็นร้านค้ามากมายต่างประชันขนมไหว้พระจันทร์สูตรพิเศษที่ปีหนึ่งจะมีให้ทานกันแค่ครั้งเดียว
