Fluke Natouch and Judo Tantachj in Dating Game 1st ep premiere

Fluke Natouch and Judo Tantachj, two lead actors in "Dating Game The Series" make an appearance before the series make its world premiere for the 1st episode in Bangkok, along with Snow Man's Koji Mukai, March Chutavuth and O Supitcha.

"Dating Game The Series" is a Thai-Japanese BL  romantic comedy, depicts the story of "Hill" (March Chutavuth), a game developer who must create a dating game and win over his strict Japanese boss, Junji (Koji Mukai). Meanwhile, a playboy named Bay (Judo Tantachj) tries to prove his sincerity to a heartbroken chef, Phat (Fluke Natouch). The series explores cultural clashes, romantic chaos, and personal growth, promising plot twists and heartwarming moments.

Mew Suppasit Music Theater in Japan on 3rd May 2023

Great news! A Thai actor "Mew Suppasit" confirmed to show in Japan.

He is known from the lead role in a Thai TV series "TharnType" (2019) and gained popularity worldwide. At the first fan meeting in Japan last  November, he spoke English fluently as well as his native Thai language. He also attracted many fans by showing his love about Japan and his Japanese abilities. He will back to Japan again in May 2023.

Based on the "Music Theater" concept, you will see him acting, playing the songs and talking this time.

SHOOTING STAR ASIA TOUR in Japan in March 2023

SHOOTING STAR ASIA TOUR by 4 Thai actors from "F4 Thailand" or "BOYS OVER FLOWERS" (Thai version) will be held in Japan on March 2023 at Pia Arena!

Thai-Korean co-producing film "The Medium" released in Japan this Summer

On 7/30, Banjong Pisanthanakun , a renowned Thai director with Narilya and Sawanee, actresses from a Thai-Korean co-producing film "The Medium" appeared on the stage after premiered in Osaka, Japan.

Based on a Thai culture in Northeastern region where local people believed in natural spirits, shamanism as well as Buddhism. On the stage, director Banjong shared his experiences from working this international project with Na Hong-Jin, a Korean director.

He hinted us "How to convert a local story in one culture and make it internationally for people around the world", also revealed that it's not easy for a foreign film like Thai film to show at regular theaters in Japan.

Director Banjong is known from many films such as Shutter, Hello Stranger, One Day. Three of his films were selected to show in Osaka Asian Film Festival. Medium is the first film showing at regular theaters outside the film festivals. Let's hear what people wanted to know after watched the film. 

Q: It was filming in documentary style so what's difficulty as an actor?

Start from Sawanee who takes the role of Auntie Nim, is known as a veteran stage actress and director in Thailand.

Sawanee: "The acting must be balancing and attempted to take the role of auntie Nim. To understand the character, we took many workshops, the acting is not fixed at the beginning but director Banjong tuning it by commenting, it's too much or too little. He is a great director who works with actors all the time".

Narilya: "It was filming in documentary style so I must be that person but not acting like that person. I've to learn more how to make all believed that I'm living and raising there, acting like not acting is the most difficult".

Narilya: "The events and main quotes were noted a little (there are no script), so the acting was mostly improvised" 

Director Banjong : This film is originally planned and produced as a Korean film, but director Na Hong-Jin who is his friend asked me to make this film and he also interested in the Shamanism in Thailand.  I have to research in Northern Thailand and found the story of "Pĭ" (spirit) and Shaman culture which is similar to Korean culture like when the successor is chosen, they get sick weirdly. 

I added more Thai culture into the film such as natural spirit resides everywhere in the trees, mountains, even animals which is very Thai. The film is made based on local story as I'm focusing on Thai culture. But it's showing in many countries around the world by using two director names, so Korean producer will comment the film as a foreigner audience who watched this film as a world cinema. 

The audience also curious to know why Thai people in the film attached a lucky colour sticker on the unlucky painted colour car which is reflecting the Thai superstitions and Thai culture. The Medium showing in Japan theaters now.

เมื่อวันที่ 30 ก.ค. ที่ผ่านมา คุณ "โต้ง" บรรจง ปิสัญธนะกูล ผู้กำกับชื่อดังบินลัดฟ้าจากไทยพร้อมกับเอี้ยง สวนีย์ (ป้านิ่ม) และญดา นริลญา (มิ้งค์) นักแสดงนำจากหนังเรื่อง "ร่างทรง" มาทักทายผู้ชมชาวญี่ปุ่นหลังฉายรอบปฐมทัศน์ที่โอซาก้า 

เรื่องราวของครอบครัวหนึ่งในภาคอีสานของไทย ที่นับถือผี  ไสยศาสตร์ และร่างทรง งานวันนี้ได้รับการตอบรับอย่างดีจากชาวญี่ปุ่น ตั๋วหนังจำหน่ายหมดเกลี้ยงกันเลยทีเดียว!

หลังหนังจบ ผู้กำกับบอกเล่าประสบการณ์การทำโปรเจ็กต์หนังเรื่องนี้กับผู้กำกับชาวเกาหลี "นาฮองจิน" นอกจากนี้ ยังเล่าเบื้องหลังการทำงาน อย่างการนำเรื่องราวในท้องถิ่นที่ดูเป็นไทย กับโจทย์ที่ได้รับจากเกาหลี แล้วถ่ายทอดเนื้อหาออกมาให้ดูเป็นสากล เข้าถึงผู้ชมทั่วโลกได้อย่างไร และเผยว่าเป็นเรื่องไม่ง่ายนักสำหรับการนำหนังไทยมาฉายในโรงภาพยนตร์ทั่วไปที่ญี่ปุ่น

ผู้กำกับบรรจงเป็นที่รู้จักกันดีจากหนังสุดฮิตหลายเรื่อง อาทิ ชัตเตอร์, กวน มึนโฮ,  แฟนเดย์ แฟนกันแค่วันเดียว โดยภาพยนตร์ของเขา 3 เรื่องได้รับเลือกให้ฉายในงาน Osaka Asian Film Festival ที่โอซาก้า "ร่างทรง" เป็นหนังเรื่องแรกของผู้กำกับบรรจงที่เข้าฉายในโรงหนังทั่วไปนอกงานเทศกาลภาพยนตร์ ลองมาฟังว่ากันว่าผู้ชมส่วนใหญ่สนใจเรื่องอะไรหลังจากได้ชมหนังจบ

Q: เนื่องจากตัวหนังถ่ายทำในแบบสารคดี อะไรคือความยากลำบาก ในฐานะนักแสดง?

เริ่มจากคุณเอี้ยง สวนีย์ ผู้รับบทป้านิ่ม เป็นที่รู้จักในฐานะผู้คร่ำหวอดในวงการละครเวที

สวนีย์: การที่จะต้องเล่นให้พอดีขนาด และพยายามที่จะเข้าไปสวมบทบาทของป้านิ่มให้ได้ เรามีการทำเวิร์กช็อปเยอะมากค่ะ เพื่อทำความเข้าใจในตัวละคร แต่ว่าเราไม่ได้ฟิกซ์ไว้ว่าจะต้องเล่นแค่นี้ๆ นะ คุณบรรจงเขาจะปรับเปลี่ยน เขาจะบอกแค่ว่าอันนี้น้อยไป อันนี้เยอะไป เขาเป็นผู้กำกับที่ยอดเยี่ยมมาก ทำงานกับนักแสดงตลอดเวลา

นริลญา: "เราต้องเล่นให้เหมือนกับการถ่ายทำสารคดี มันยากตรงที่เราต้องไปเป็นคนๆ นั้น เหมือนไม่ได้แสดงเป็นคนๆ นั้นอยู่ ต้องไปศึกษาเพิ่มเติมให้เชื่อว่าเราคือคนที่เติบโตมาจากที่นั่น เป็นคนที่อยู่ที่นั่นจริงๆ ความยากคือต้องแสดงให้เหมือนกับไม่แสดงค่ะ แล้วก็ตัวบทเขาเขียนเอาไว้เป็นเหมือนเหตุการณ์และคำพูดสำคัญๆ นิดหน่อย นอกนั้นก็ improvise หมดเลยค่ะ”

ผู้กำกับโต้ง : เดิมทีภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้วางแผนสร้างเป็นภาพยนตร์เกาหลี แต่ผู้กำกับ "นา ฮอง-จิน" ซึ่งเป็นเพื่อนกันขอให้ผมสร้างภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ และเขาก็สนใจเรื่องคนทรงเจ้าในไทยด้วย ผมต้องไปศึกษาข้อมูลที่ภาคอีสานของไทยแล้วพบเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับ ผี และความเชื่อเรื่องร่างทรงที่คล้ายกับวัฒนธรรมของเกาหลี อย่างเวลาเลือกผู้สืบทอด ผู้ถูกเลือกจะมีอาการป่วยหนัก ผมได้เพิ่มความเป็นไทยเข้าไปในตัวหนังด้วย เช่น ที่บอกว่าผีสิงสถิตย์อยู่ตามธรรมชาติทุกหนแห่งไม่ว่าจะเป็นต้นไม้ ภูเขา แม้แต่สัตว์หรือสุนัข ซึ่งดูเป็นไทยมาก หนังเรื่องนี้สร้างจากเรื่องราวในท้องถิ่นเน้นที่วัฒนธรรมแบบไทยๆ แต่ว่าได้ฉายในหลายประเทศทั่วโลก ภายใต้ชื่อผู้กำกับสองคน ทางโปรดิวเซอร์ชาวเกาหลีจะคอมเมนต์ภาพยนตร์ในฐานะผู้ชมชาวต่างชาติที่ชมภาพยนตร์ที่สร้างขึ้นเพื่อฉายทั่วโลก 

จากนั้นผู้ชมชาวญี่ปุ่นยังถามว่าในภาพยนตร์ ทำไมต้องเอาสติกเกอร์สีไปแปะที่รถยนต์ ซึ่งคุณโต้งได้อธิบายว่าเพราะการเปลี่ยนสีรถยนต์เป็นเรื่องใหญ่ ต้องใช้เงินเยอะ คนไทยจึงหาสติกเกอร์สีถูกโฉลกหรือเป็นมงคลมาแปะที่รถยนตร์เพื่อหลอกผี เป็นวิธีการแก้เคล็ดอย่างหนึ่ง สะท้อนความเชื่อเรื่องโชคลางแบบไทยๆ ที่เป็นเรื่องแปลกใหม่ในญี่ปุ่น หากใครอยู่ญี่ปุ่น หรือคิดถึงบ้าน คงต้องหาโอกาสไปชมกันให้ได้เลย
